Your Safety Comes First

Chat and Video is designed to be a safe space for genuine connections, but online safety is a shared responsibility. Follow these guidelines to protect yourself while enjoying our platform.

Protect Your Personal Information

Never share sensitive personal details with strangers online. This includes:

  • Your full name
  • Home address or workplace
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Social media profiles
  • Financial information
  • Daily routines or locations

Video Chat Safety

  • Be mindful of your surroundings: Ensure you're in a private space where you won't be interrupted or overheard.
  • Use good lighting: It helps both parties see clearly and creates a more natural conversation.
  • Dress appropriately: Treat video chats like any other public interaction.
  • Never record conversations: Recording someone without consent is illegal in many jurisdictions and violates our terms.
  • Trust your instincts: If something feels off, end the chat immediately using the 'Next' button.

Recognizing Red Flags

Be cautious if someone:

  • Asks for money or financial assistance
  • Pressures you to share personal information
  • Shares inappropriate content
  • Makes you feel uncomfortable with their questions or behavior
  • Claims to be someone they're clearly not
  • Rushes the relationship or conversation

  • Meet in a public place with other people around
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going
  • Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting
  • Stay sober and maintain clear judgment
  • Trust your instincts—leave if you feel unsafe

Account Security

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Don't share your login credentials
  • Log out when using shared devices
  • Enable two-factor authentication if available

If you encounter threatening behavior or feel your safety is at risk:

  • End the conversation immediately
  • Report the user through our platform
